Siloam Cottages are part of the Klein Moddergat estate. Situated in the wooded, wind-protected area of Hout Bay. 18kms from Cape Town; under Constantiaberg and looking up to Table Mountain. Minutes from the majestic Chapman's Peak Drive and the beautiful Hout Bay beach and Harbour area. The Wetlands Nature Reserve is across the road along the upper reaches of the Disa river. Walks up the magnificent Table Mountain are just minutes away.

The thatched main house dates from 1870. The 1.5 acre estate abounds in oak, fig, pine and blackwood trees. The newly built luxury two-storey, cottages are lovingly appointed and fully equipped. They each have two double bedrooms bathroom with bath and shower, open plan kitchen and living area with french doors leading on to large stoep where you can sip sundowners enjoy the sun-dappled, north facing aspect or watch the birds and squirrels chase among the trees.
The newly refurbished one-bed roomed cottage is part of the old estate, situated in its own private garden with Weber braai (BBQ) area. It is fully equipped: Bedroom with 2 single beds, sleeper couch in living area, bathroom with bath and shower, open plan living area, kitchen with fridge-freezer, Salton oven and grill, microwave and electric frying pan.


All linen and towels are provided but beach towels are not supplied. All the cottages are serviced weekly, towels are changed every four days. Daily servicing can be arranged should you require. Colour TV in all cottages.
 

There is a swimming pool and braai area in the grounds and ample parking is available next to the cottages. Hout Bay has lots to offer: Safe bathing on beautiful sandy beaches... Water sports... Walks... Mountain Hikes of all degrees of difficulty... Horse riding at the Riding Academy... Sea Cruises... Africa's largest Bird park and sanctuary... Scenic drives... at the last count 23 restaurants catering for all tastes and pockets... Craft markets on Sundays... Peace and tranquility ...and for the more active days there are Golf courses and Horse racing all within 15 minutes drive.
