Leeukop Bed & Breakfast, accommodation in a private home, set
against the lower slopes of Table Mountain, in the seaside Camps
Bay suburb of Cape Town. Leeukop B&B is a five-minute walk from
Camps Bay beach and the restaurants on the beachfront. The
gorgeous Clifton beaches are ten minutes away on foot, and the
Table Mountain cable station is five minutes away by car. Your
hosts are Peter and Jalna Schumann and their young son Wilhelm.
They are assisted by Margie McCarthy and Rachel Harris.
Accommodation
You will find three-star (TGCSA), home-from-home accommodation
in two comfortable bed and breakfast (or self-catering) suites:
an apartment with a patio in an indigenous garden; and a studio
with a pretty balcony. Each unit has its own entrance,
comfortable twin or king beds, kitchenettes with stove plates,
microwave, fridge, heater in winter and fan in summer,
telephone, TV, MNet. Tea, coffee, milk replenished daily.
Laundry service. Children welcome.
Facilities
The apartment faces on to a fascinating herb and indigenous
garden from where you have views of the mountain. Steps lead
onto a small patio in the garden. It has a lounge, kitchen,
bathroom (shower and bath) and separate toilet.
The studio consists of a cosy bedroom with a pretty balcony
facing into the garden at the side of the house where there is a
bench for the use of guests. It is en suite with shower,
washbasin and toilet, and has a kitchenette. Although the studio
forms part of the main house it is completely private with its
own entrance.
