The
Cape Town Golf Hotel, High Timbers Lodge, is located high on the
slopes of the Cape's Constantia mountains. This is a warmly
welcoming guest lodge, where the personal touch is paramount and
the ambience rich in comfort.
Secluded in a 1,5 acre lush, landscaped garden, High Timbers
embodies tranquillity. Architecture is in tune with nature,
reflecting the rural setting and blending with the surrounding
trees. City stress is banished by birdsong, crystal-clear air
and panoramic views over a nature reserve to the backdrop of a
blue bay framed by distant mountains.
Your hands-on hosts Coleen and Oliver, who are both experienced
in the Cape Town hospitality trade, are committed to your
comfort and pleasure. Under their care, you'll take home special
memories of "the fairest Cape in the whole circumference of the
globe".
Walk through the front door of High Timbers and you'll be
enveloped in modern South African hospitality, with an accent on
space and light. Soft colours and textured wood provide warmth
without ostentation, and antiques and paintings by local artists
add a unique Cape touch to international luxury. For a
home-from-home feel, sink into plump couches in the lounge,
where there is satellite TV (with German programmes).
The Lodge consists of 6 spacious Bedrooms and a seperate fully
equipped Apartment.
Bedrooms
Six spacious bedrooms, designed for peaceful rest, have a
spectacular view to Table Mountain Nature Reserve and over
Constantia Valley, plus all the essential amenities. Each
bathroom is en-suite, with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.
Cupboards are roomy and bed linen is hypoallergenic and pure
cotton. Choice of twin beds or king-size bed.

Apartment
The Apartment is approx. 120 sqm. It has 2 bedrooms with queen
size beds and en-suite bathrooms with shower, bath, basin,
toilet, hairdryer and heated towel rail. Furthermore there is a
living- and dining room, a fully fitted kitchen with all
electrical appliances, a sauna and a large balcony with a
beautiful view to Table Mountain Nature Reserve and over
Constantia Valley. Maximum 4 people.
