It is a proud member of Overstrand Tourism. Hermanus is known as the most authentic whale town in the whole of South Africa, and is known to have the best land based whale viewing in the world.

Champagne air, mild climate, unique scenic cliff paths that hug the coast from one side of town to the other, wide open stretches of beach, cosy coves and bays, a rich floral kingdom and friendly environment. Close to the New Harbour and the start of the famous Hermanus Cliff Path.
