Buchan Estate is a country estate in Hout Bay
offering luxury self catering accommodation in
thatched cottages with high beamed ceilings,
tranquil views and furnished with touches of
Africa. Set in three acres of paddocks and
gardens, the estate is surrounded by mountains
and trees with the Disa River running through
the property. Four star grading by Tourism
Grading Council of South Africa.
With the emphasis on relaxation,
privacy and nature there are only three cottages and each
one enjoys uninterrupted views of the mountains surrounding
Hout Bay. All have a private patio, modern fitted kitchen,
TV, DVD, satellite and are fully serviced.
For a romantic getaway our honeymoon cottage has a king size
four poster bed, sweeping mosquito nets and African stone bath.
A conference room is also available with antique mahogany
furniture, original artworks and paintings.
Guests can also enjoy a range of relaxation therapies, an
evening cooking service after a busy day and for those with
children there is an excellent baby-sitting service
